Keyboard Query For Bios Setup With Gigabyte E-350

Hi, I'm new to building PC's so bear with me... Im building a small server computer with an Gigabyte E-350 motherboard and I wondered what type of keyboard I'll need to set the bios up. Can I use just any plug-and-play usb keyboard wired/wireless, or will I need an old school keyboard with the round pinned connector (S/PDIF is it?). If your all wondering why I am asking this, its because the motherboard has not turned up in the post yet.

I was looking at something extremely small so I can hide it away, as I will only need it for accessing the bios, as I will be accessing this machine via a web browser/network using an open-source program called FreeNAS once the bios has been setup.

If it is this board GIGABYTE GA-E350N-USB3 Motherboard/CPU Combo Motherboard/CPU Set - Newegg.com a USB or PS-2 keyboard should work. (S-PDIF is an audio connector I believe.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S/PDIF

Yes either type of keyboard will work there too. They didn't have a good pic of it but I think I see a mouse and keyboard PS-2 port on it.

Thanks, im glad you said that too as I've been trying to get a good picture of the rear since I bought it!

I was thinking of the Advent mini wireless K312, but I've noticed a thread in this area saying the response time is not good when using the keys?

It's also missing the ALT key and a numeric keypad. seems like it would be clunky to use. I don't know about response time, but if will be used only for server setup and maintenance it should work OK. Then there are flexible ones you could roll up to store away. this is Newegg in US of course, maybe a UK vendor has a similar one.

I've litterally just been in my loft and found a new plain black keyboard with numeric pad and ps2 so will use that one for now until I find something else. It was just good to find out that I can use either ps2 or usb whilst in the bios
