Hi there,

I was working on a paper on my desktop when suddenly my e button and 5 button lost proper functionality.
Whenever I press the "e" button, it types 1e instead, and pressing the "5" button types y5. Holding either button down gives you 1eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee or y5555555555555, but pressing them repeatedly gives 1e1e1e or y5y5y5 for example.
This does not happen when I use the on-screen keyboard, as then e and 5 type normally by pressing the buttons with my mouse. I looked into language options and nothing has changed; I only have the US Keyboard. This typing happens in Windows Word, in Chrome, in start search and even command prompt. Also have Kaspersky running and I don't seem to have a virus. I have no idea why this suddenly started happening, but I'd like it go away ASAP so I can write my paper instead of it looking like som1ething lik1e this.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Okay, the problem went away by restarting my computer. But in case anybody knows why this happened, and to prevent it in the future, I'm sure people would like to know the answer (if there is one).
