i had to replace an install of XP x64 with x86 (32bit version) on another partition, and well yeah, its changed my boot screen so no option to boot win7... i followed some advice to boot from the windows 7 disc, and select repair your computer.. and then run command prompt and type the commands 'bootrec /fixmbr' and 'bootrec /fixboot'... both commands seemed to have worked, but on a restart.... straight into XP. Ive searched fairly hard, the only other option ive seen was purchasing some software to fix it. Surely theres another way? any help appreciated.
Edit: lol ok, ive got it booting back into win7 by repairing the start up... which is great!! but now theres no option to boot in XP! aghhh!! lol any ideas?
