KOTOR no install screen

So I got a copy of SW:kotor and when I put the disk in I can hear the music from the install screen but I can not see the install screen. any thoughts?

Can you see the game CD in My Computer? What happens when you try to run the Installer from there?

yea the disk shows up in my computer but still if i try to run if from there I get the same response. audio but no install screen

Hmm... can you try running the installer as admin and in Compatibility mode?
