Hi. Is there any way to modify, copy or delete files regarding the drivers from my windows 7 ?

My win7 is loading a black screen and the mouse cursor. I can move the mouse but it doesn't right click or left click. The keyboard is active but nothing happens if i press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Win+R, Win+E, 5xShift, etc. The power button doesn't work. Only reset button. I can enter in Safe Mode but its the same thing, black screen and the mouse cursor. Nothing else, i cannot access Device Manager, Task Manager, etc

How i got into this Ksod? well, i was trying to uninstall the amd 6670 gpu drivers, so i can use nvidia card.
During installation i got an error, so the uninstalling proccess stopped. I didn't use DDU. I shutted down the pc. I have swapped the gpu cards, and when i started my pc, win7 is loading a black screen.

I have tried to use multiple monitors, i have swapped back the amd card, nothing.

I have access to Win7 C:\ with Linux and with another Win10(from ssd). Is there anything i can do to modify or delete some files from C:\ in order to repair my Windows 7 ?

My Win7 is loagind black screen + mouse cursor. Is it true that explorer.exe doesnt load ?
Is there anyway to somehow start DDU application so i can remove all the gpu drivers?

So far i have tried almost everything. Repairing doesnt work, System Restore doesnt work, CMD commands doesnt work. I believe the registry has some bad values due to error during driver uninstallation. Is there a way to "clean" or repair the OS registry regarding the drivers?

Hello, and welcome to the Forum.

At what point in the boot sequence does the screen go black? Are you seeing the Motherboard Splash screen and the Windows Logo appear before the screen goes black?

Problem is, Windows is relying on third party drivers for the graphics to work. Nevertheless, Safe Mode should work with any graphics card. If Safe Mode does not work, then try "Last Known Good Configuration".

Had you tried putting the old graphics card back into the computer? You should not need to uninstall a graphics driver before installing a new graphics driver. You should just be able to plug in a graphics card, and the OS will find the right driver, or ask for one.

Hello iko22, thank you for your reply and for the welcome.

At what point in the boot sequence does the screen go black?
I have the starting windows logo with the animation displayed but the blue background with the Welcome in the middle doesnt appear. I believe it goes to the desktop, the only thing i can see is the mouse cursor, and it moves where ever i point the mouse.

I have tried to put back the previous card but same thing is happening, black background + mouse cursor.
I did try the option "Last Known Good Configuration" but nothing happens. I also tried safe mode, safemode + cmd, safemode +networking, i have tried "enable low-resolution video" , also "disable driver signature enforcement". Nothing hapens.
I was surprised to see that safemode doesnt load any image, it doesnt load any desktop. Because i thought i could get away with safemod + DDU.

What shall i do next ? Is there any bootable DisplayDriverUninstaller that allows me to choose a certain partition, in my case C:\ and to remove the problem?
Can i modify(repair) my Windows registry if the windows(desktop) doesnt load?

You can try analyse and repair corrupt system files, from an administrators command prompt window in your Windows 10 OS, using this command:

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=d:\ /offwindir=d:\windows
where, d: is the drive letter of your Windows 7, as seen by your Windows 10 OS.
