Lagspikes on internet

Hi

I dont know why, but i get 3-4 lagspikes every 30 seconds when surfing on the internet.. No sort of lag spikes if i do anything thats not internet related.. have Acer Aspire 5930G

Are you running more than 1 Anti-Virus program? If so, you should only use one.

Has this condition just recently started?

No, im only using one anti virus program which is the microsoft security essentials. I dont think it was there from the start, but its been going on for a while now

Sorry for the delay. Been doing a little home remodeling and have been too tired to do much computer stuff.

If you're still having problems, you need to fill out your system specs as that would possibly help in locating your problem.

Yes i still have problems.. And its very weird. I feel theese lagspikes comes _alot_ more when im at uni, then home. At Uni my messenger crashes for 5 sec 24/7.. Google chrome freezez alot... Tbh, at home i dont really see this as a problem( rarely happens) It usually works fine.. Also, after the windows 7 install , i havent bothered with finding any drivers, beside my graphic cards and my mouse.

I was hoping someone else would show up and help on this because in the searching I've done, I've not come up with anything that looks like a sure fix. My opinion at this time would be that your problems are caused by an overcrowded network at the university, since you don't seem to have problems at home.

Your wireless drivers may need to be updated. I would check the Acer support page and see what the latest are.
