language icon problem

I don't know if I'm in the right thread or not. Anyways, my problem is when I minimize windows the language icon disappears. When I reopen the windows it reapears. How can I just let it show on the icon permanetly?

Language bar disappearing?

To show the Language bar
· Right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Language bar. Once the Language bar is displayed, you can right-click it to display options for changing its settings, which include docking it on the taskbar or displaying it vertically instead of horizontally.

The problem was firefox, so I updated the firefox. It seems to be ok for now. Keeping my fingers crossed here. Ok no problem with firefox, but when I open desktop shortcut and close it. The language icon disappears. If I open something else it reappears.
