Hi:

I hope someone can help me, i don´t know what else can i do.

When i start the Laptop (Acer Aspire) seems to boot well, sends the Acer

logo and then appears the windows loading, but suddenly it simply reboots

(i´ve heard and small click on the laptop) and if i let her go, it will do

it again and again.
I´ve tried to start it in safe mode and it starts well, but if try do it

in a normal way, it will restart and restart...

Also I´ve tried running on repair mode, same result. Reinstalling windows

and when i pass from the language/zone window, it restarts again (no

matter what i do, the laptop restarts around this point and i does not let

me reinstall windows)

Also, i´ve try using an a boot usb and same results.

Some guys told me that could be the hard drive, but i´ve tested another

two and and the result is the same.

I don´t know what else can i do.

Please Help me

Thank you very much

Sounds like you cannot get far enough to even safe boot (F8). Can you take the drive out and use it as an external drive to another PC? On the second PC you could check the file system and software to make sure everything is "ok", no viruses or integrity problems. You could also copy off files as a backup.

You say you tried another hard drive. If you put in a known working hard drive and are still seeing the problem, perhaps this is a hardware (motherboard) issue not a software issue.

I would try putting your hand by the fan port and seeing if the fan is running, or just how hot the air is coming from the fan port. It sounds like it's overheating.

Either that, or you have some kind of hardware problem, as has been suggested.

Yet, it runs in safe mode...

If it isn't overheating, and it isn't a hardware problem, it could be a driver issue. When you try to normal boot, how far does the boot process get? At what point does it reboot?

I haven´t tested the hardrive in another Laptop, but i will

Bad by me, but i´ve formated the hardisk trying to install windows (duh)

About the overheating, it could be and not, because when the lap is starting, the fan start turning but in some point it stops, however is not always the case, sometimes keeps turning and even so, the lap restarts again.

I think is the motherboard, what comes to my mind the video card or the bus, i don´t know.

I will try some cooling methods to see if it works and also test the harddrive in another laptop.

Thank you very much.
