Hi friends :)
I had Vista on my lenovo G530 laptop and it used to make short sounds when the laptop lid opened or closed upon entering/exit to/from sleep mode by closing/openning the lid now I have upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate there is no any sound...How can I get this back??

-I dont think its a preinstallled program
-I tend to think it was a Vista sound scheme?
Thanks!

I think there's some features if you go to your battery settings, there should be some kind of table with possibilities with Windows Sounds and stuff like that.
Search for battery, and check it out. I don't remember it completely.

Hi fredegail
May be you mean" power options" ?
i checked there for sound options for battery, but there is no such option.
Anyway i had the sounds on lid open/close also when i used plugin (AC POWER)
