Laptop Drivers

Hi,

I have just done a clean install ony my Sony Vaio laptop and want to make sure that I am using the latest drivers. At the moment I need drivers for the following:

ATI 4570 Mobile Graphics Chip the driver listed on Sony's website is outdated so I am looking for the latest version.

I also need a driver for an Atheros AR9285 Wireless Adaptor.

Thanks for your replies,

I have tried the AMD link to the Mobile Driver and it said that its not compatible with my gfx card in my laptop. Windows update is offering a driver for the gfx card which was released in late Feb 2011 is it okay to try this?

At the moment it's running on the standard windows VGA deceive driver

I decided to go for the driver that was listed on windows update and it seems to be working ok

That's why you cannot download the driver to install it... The web installer cannot recognize the hardware. Download outdated driver from Sony website and install it. Then, use "catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util". Let us know the results.

The results were the same with the drivers even after installing the ones from Sony's site. I've decided to stick with the Windows Update Driver that was released on 9th Feb 2011

Look what I found. Apparently Sony is the culprit for your issue...
