Laptop Fan Problems

1. Fan stopped working on the laptop. Replaced fan.
2. Because the fan quit working the Hard Drive got hot and burnt up and then replaced that.
3. The new fan quit working.

What could be causing the fan to stop working, and the computer not safety shutting off.

Sounds like the battery has gone to be, does it hole its charger?

Is it hot to touch?

It could also be the motherboard that is failing, best to take it to a repair shop and get them to have a look. As any advice we give may not be accurate as we don't have hands on.

Well the battery is working fine. I also assumed the mobo but was hoping for another solution.
