Laptop hangs after logging in

HI I have a dell studio laptop with preinstalled windows 7 home premium.
It is working fine till monday and after that when ever i try to login into that it is hanging up after entering my password and explorer pops up.
I am able to login in safe mode with no issues.
Tried all the tools like memory diagnositcs tool and some options like disabling drivers using basic boot configuration but nothing worked.
any help on this please
Also my USB drives are not detecting in safemode is there any way to enable it??

The first thing to try is a malware scan to rule that out, dl and install MBAM from the link below and run a full scan and let us know how it sorts out.
