why would you want to change resolution? That's its screen's native resolution. Anything more or less will look ugly (the reason why it's locked in the first place).

Other Info
Was discarded by previous owner due to "horrible performance".
Was running Win Xp from a IDE drive. Yeah. Was a pain.
SATA II drive and Win7 and it zips away! Yay!
Or try advanced settings - Adapter - List all modes or on AMD Catalyst, but never saw a locked down resolution, as is common to support at least 1024x768 or 800x600.
If you connect an external monitor / LCD TV to your laptop you'll probably find the built in video driver will offer more resolutions -- press the Windows key +P and switch to display only on 2nd monitor.
When on the 2nd monitor right mouse click anywhere on the screen and then choose screen resolution.
A lot of laptops only offer a standard "Native" resolution for its own screen but almost all of them -- even cheap ones offer a lot more choice when an external monitor is plugged in -- either via HDMI or VGA type cable. - Remember to switch the display to the 2nd screen only to get this to work (Windows + P).
For example I have a smallish laptop also which only offers 768 X 1366 native resolution -- but when I use an external monitor I get more choices -- for example - screenshot enc.
