Laptop has frequent freezes, BSODs, sudden reboots - apparently random

I have updated the Intel Graphics driver, I hope I chose the right file.

I'll run memtest overnight then.

Updated the driver.

I can't get Memtest to start properly. I boot on my USB drive, the test launches, and after 1-5mn the computer shuts down and restarts on windows.

Do you think this is a hardware issue?

Hi again.

I can't seem to run Memtest for more than 4-5mn, the computer crashes after that.
chkdsk did not find any errors

I've had other BSODs that did not generate minidumps. Errors were mostly BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, and BSODs with no error code but it was always 0x00000007f.

Is there anything in the minidump file I've uploaded before that could be useful? Anything at all?
I'm really close to give up, I can't understand what's wrong. My work requires that I use my computer anyway so I end up forcing a hard reboot on it five, ten, fifteen times a day, and I know it's not a good thing.

Please, if there is anything left to try, tell me. If not, I'll get over this and look for a new machine (and be in debt).

P.S. : I have not been able to run memtest, but I have tried running the laptop with either one of the two RAM sticks I have, and both have given me the same results - the crashes keep happening.

I'll take a look later. Sorry I haven't been able to get around to it but my working hours have changed so my access to the site is very sporadic at the moment.

Thank you - appreciate it immensely, I'm being honest here this forum is a constant thread of hope.

Update on the computer: for the first time in multiple tries, Memtest has run long enough to report "some" errors... and when I say "some" I mean over 200,000. Picture attached. Should I conclude this is definitely a RAM, hardware problem?

Yes, unfortunately that indicates that your RAM is faulty. It will need replacing as there is no way of repairing it.

Hi,

I'll check each RAM stick and change them ASAP (I need to get a proper screwdriver to open my laptop).

In the meantime can you tell me if you think I also have a drivers issue? I get a lot of BSODs from USB_DRIVER and 0x0000007F which do not seem to be memory related (... ?).

Thanks a lot.

Iphigénie

P.S. : When I first arrive on my desktop after starting windows now, I get an error saying IAStorIcon.exe has stopped running. I think it's Intel Rapid Storage Technology but when I try to repair, desinstall or reinstall it I get a critical error and the program stops running...
