Laptop key board problem

i just installed win 7 ultimate 64bit on my Sony VAIO VGN-FW31E laptop. Now bear in mind i have 32 bit on another partition and it works fine. but 64bit i have a broblem with my keyboard. I can type ok but i have no special characters, such as @%$#^&(_+"|). all of these i had to copy and paste. please help. if i am not making any sense just ask for clarification

SONY Support Country Selection Page

You have a European version. You will need to go to the above link and find the 64bit driver for the keyboard.
Install on the Win 7 64bit.

UK isn't listed as available there so select the country on the first page.

still no Joy

Hi mike, thanks for the reply, but i am unable to locate the driver for the kayboard on the site. Seriously frustrating. ill keep scouring the net

It is Sony or nothing.

You can try a Vista 64bit. driver. They sometimes install just as if Win 7. If not then try compatability mode here. Option 1 or 2.
