laptop not conecting to internet

i have 3 laptops running and today 1 would not connect to the internet unless through a cable , the laptop does not pick up any wireless networks at all were usually it picked up 5 or 6 , anybody any ideas , thanks

the laptop is a Toshiba Equium if that helps
