I did a clean reinstall about a month ago but ever since my ASUS N55SF laptop has not been performing as it should do. Beforehand I could run the games I play with no problems but now I can barely load them.

I have replaced my battery after thinking it was that (laptop gets very hot and noisy when trying to load it) and it solved nothing.

Not great with computers so any help would be appreciated.

Your laptop getting loud and hot is the problem.
It probably needs a good inside cleaning. When the laptop or most any computer get hot enough it will throttle back and things will slow down a lot. Once inside you would also want to check and make sure the fan is working proper.
