What exactly is it that you want to transfer? Your files, your settings or your hard drive itself?

The easiest thing to do would be to just setup a home network and use the LAN to transfer files. If it's the operating system itself that you want to transfer, I wouldn't really recommend it nor do I think it is possible.

I'd recommend that you do a clean installation on the desktop, then use transfer your user folder and settings over to the desktop using Windows Easy Transfer. Once that is done you can install all of your programs and such.

There are quite a few reasons you cant/shouldn't just clone the hadr drive and move it over. One, you cant use the same cd key on two computers. Two, the drivers are all different as is the bios. Three by performing a clean install and manually transferring the files you wish to keep you can remove a ton of the "junk" files that would be transfered if you transfered the whole disk.

Anyway, here's a little tutorial on using a crossover cable:

It`s just one very big folder .. Can you write step by step how to do it .. I really appreciate :)

Use this tutorial, then you should be able to transfer files between the two:

Untitled Document

Using a network would require you to have a router. If you're connected to the internet through one then you should be able to share files that way as well.
