Is there a reputable manufacturer that makes a laptop that has an illuminated Windows logo orb on the cover? I've been considering getting one and figured some manufacturer has thought of this by now. I've checked CyberPowerPC, Alienware, HP & Dell so far and haven't seen anything.

I suppose a decal would work (save on battery life), but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Probably not. Most laptop providers put their logo on the top, but since an OS is swappable, they don't put something permanent on top. A decal is all you're going to get most likely.

YIKES!!! I've seen people on TV shows using Macbooks with illuminated apples (of course that's also Hollywood), though I've never had enough interest in Mac to really investigate the matter. I also have a coworker that has an illuminated HP logo on her cover. Thought the idea sounded nice, anyways :thumbsup:
