gahhhh twitter. I personally don't see the point of buying a netbook, when they cost the same (sometimes more!) than a cheap full size computer. And its always when you need to do something processor intensive that you realise your netbook can't do it.
I quite agree - they aren't for you and me. But if a person just wants something small and light, to email and get into the cloud with, I reckon they are hard to beat. And you really can get one for for $300. And it will run for 8 hours on a charge!
Don't think of it as a small computer - think of it as a large phone.
