Greetings,

I've encountered a pretty weird issue.

-I have a laptop that has a Windows 7 on it.
-I want to install Windows XP, therefore I put in my Windows XP CD
-When I boot, it completely ignores the CD and boots windows normally

I've tried to change the boot timing and I've also tried changing the boot order by putting the CD on top.

Any ideas what can be done?

-Thank you

Try the XP CD in a different machine - it might not be bootable. Back in the day, I've seen people make an XP copy for a mate where they have just copied the files instead of making a bootable disk. Warez downloads often have this issue. I'm sure your copy is genuine - just a comment.
