My laptop had gone to sleep during a long copy process of content between two drives due to the fact it was dieing, I woke it up and signed in, then went and got the charger. My copy page/process is still here and currently working. I want to make sure no files are corrupt in any way or are missing from the copy-to drive. Does it sound ok?

Hello Green Elephant,

It sounds like everything is fine, it just paused the copy process until you logged back in and once you did it resumed the copy process.

Change or extend the time of auto sleep on Windows 7. Here's how to do it:

1. Right click on background
2. Go to personalize
3. Click on screen saver
4. Change or adjust the settings from there.

P.S. FYI, the files won't corrupt or are damaged when computer sleeps at mid of copy-past operation. So just don't worry about it.
