Alright so here's where I am. I have a Toshiba Satellite L505D-GS6000, running Windows 7 Home Premium OEM 32-bit OS. One day the laptop didn't start. I press the power button and all i get is a solid power LED.

Steps I've Tried-
Discharge static (x2)
Remove battery from system for diagnostic purposes
Re-Seat Ram
Remove Ram and Tried a BRAND NEW stick of ram in both slots.
remove/re-seat Harddrive
remove/re-seat DVD Drive
re-seat processor/ New thermal paste
manually reset BIOS to defaults using jumpers
ordered refurbished motherboard. still no change
new processor - Same model I took out( AMD Turion II Mobile M500) (tmm500db022gq)
reset BIOS using jumpers on new board and still no change

No matter what I do all I get is a black screen, a solid power light, and no signs of posting
AKA
-Blinking HDD light
-fan speed change
-beeps
-external monitor acknowledgement

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I am not afraid to spend money to fix it.
Thanks everyone.

Try completely removing the hard drive and start it up and see if you can get into bios. If that does not work, remove all the ram and try to start it. I know it won't start, but you should hear a series of beeps from the motherboard. That's a good thing. It lets you know the motherboard is doing what it should.

EDIT: Could you be a little more descriptive on what is happening when you try to start it up? If you hear fans turning and everything running but no picture, it could be a video problem. Just because you see no video does not mean the computer is not running. Been there, done that.

Sorry for late response, I started it without the HDD or Ram, I am getting no signs of Posting or any beeps. (no change from yesterday)

And when I start it, I just get a black screen, green power light, YES the fan does run but the Variable fan speed from BIOS does not engage. and I have tried with an external monitor. Also the computer won't shut down with just pushing the power button, I have to hold it. :/

I'm not real knowledgeable about laptops, so I am running out of ideas. What I do know about them is with a working motherboard, it should beep continuously with no ram installed. That indicates to me a bad motherboard or something was not connected right when it was put back together. It seems that with the money you have spent trying to salvage that laptop you could have almost bought a new one. I'll try to find someone to help you as I really have no further suggestions.

A recap. You replaced
Motherboard
CPU and paste
HDD
Correct?
If it's still doing the same things as before replacing all of those parts it could be the internal power supply (not battery or charger) or you missed reconnecting some little ribbon connector.
