I have an HP Laserjet 1200 connected to an iMac. Now I have a new HP laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS and would like to print to the LJ 1200. The Mac and the PC are on a wireless home network. The printer shows up on the laptop but the only driver that I could find (HP Universal Printing PS) does not work. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks. I downloaded them and each one of them was a cabinet file which then expanded to whole bunch of files; don't know the actual driver file! In the meantime, the ADD PRINTER wizard let me use Windows update to find and install LJ1200-specific drivers for Windows 7; still can't print even the test page, though.

I've asked about the Laserjet 1000 and although I haven't received a thorough answer, I believe the answer is the same for the 1200. Isn't the 1200 a host based printer (software on the computer, not within the printer) like the 1000? In addition is not 64 bit compliant. I haven't gotten any of the drivers to work even using the compatibility mode. I know this doesn't help get your printer working, but I'm just trying to verify that my thinking is correct and there's no hope for the HP laser 1000/1200. Bummer!
