I've tried all methods I've seen here for installing Service Pack 1 with no success. (I need SP1 so that I can take advantage of the windows 10 upgrade offer).
Someone suggested trying an in-place repair installation of windows 7, however unfortunately I can't find the windows 7 disk that (may have) come with my Gateway computer.
I went to the microsoft site that allows you to download the iso to build the windows 7 disk, but it asks me to enter the product key on the COA sticker. When I do that it says that my windows was an OEM install and I have to contact the manufacturer for recovery options. Is there any place I can download the iso I need?
Thanks
~Paul
