The Drop with Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini both great performances and Hardy a particularly good actor when it comes to menacing characters and Gandolfini's accent is one of my favourite American ones ?New Jersey.

O.K. so Cops isn't a "movie" per se, its a short featuring Buster Keaton from 1922. What can I say? It made me laugh out loud .... but then most of his stuff does. Buster along with Harold Lloyd are two of the greatest comedians of all time in my book. Do yourself a favor and watch these guys.

Yeah, that IS a good movie.... Saw it when it came out in the theaters. Watched it again when it was released on DVD.

Being a major Trekkie I was not enthused when they "rebooted" the movie franchise. Old and set in my ways I guess. Yesterday I finally sat down and watched :

Star Trek (2009) - Star Trek (2009) - IMDb

Star Trek - Into Darkness - Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) - IMDb

And was very happily impressed. Into Darkness especially was an excellent Trek movie. Not a big fan of the Spock/Uhura budding romance thing, but the rest of the cast/writing/direction was excellent. Best Khan by far too imho!
