I have Blade Runner - The final cut /Blu Ray. In my top 10 of all time.
My view:
A movie that was made before its time. Genetic engineering was a bit far fetched back then. The movie is full of highly relevant human moral issues that question what we mean by the "sanctity of life".

Approaching the topic from a radically different direction was the sci fi "District 9". No Spielberg Close Encounters here.

yup DISTRICT 9 was beautiful and fresh! i loved it..and the setting was different! not the typical invasion on the land of the brave type

margin call was ok , well made but not the most enthralling movie ever.

last movie watched..........A prophet.(un propheté) French movie, as usual i fell asleep just before the end.

Does it get good? As about a year ago I tried to watch it, but gave up half an hour in as it was soooo slow on the uptake I don't often give up on films - in fact, that's the only film I've ever given up on

Saw the new movie "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" last night. Not bad but it was kind of long and drawn out, could have moved the story at a faster pace.
