Two movies ago (not the most recent, but second to most recent): Scarface on Blu-ray. Had never seen it before, in any version or format.
^^brilliant movie; Pacino is awesome in that.
Which one? Rear Window (1954) - IMDb or Rear Window (TV 1998) - IMDb? The first is considered a classic, the 2nd not so much.rear window![]()

Alien . the only one worth watching imo. the sequels are dire.
absolutely steve, my thinking exactly. sequels were just silly shoot em ups -- no intelligence, shoddy script, no finesse in acting. but yes, the original is brilliant. I always love the tag line too: in space no one can hear u scream. just brilliant .Alien . the only one worth watching imo. the sequels are dire.
Yeah, I agree. The first was more of a gothic horror in the classic sense, a nightmare landscape of unseen dangers lurking in dark shadows. The sequels were more action/adventure scifi ... which is a great genre too, but not in keeping with the dimly lit, sleep paralysis feel of the original.
