Latest Version of Comodo Firewall Released

I have been using Comodo Free Firewall since I gave up on ZoneAlarm about 6 month back. It works great and I use it with Avast free A-V. Compared my version with latest version advised and they are same.

But it updates itself automatically and it is like install and forget.

I am very satisfied with Comodo but I still think that ZoneAlarm GUI was much easier to handle.

Why I gave up ZASS was because it was bloated and slowed down the computer apart from not being freeware.

Hiyya Mike and welcome - I use the free Comodo IS on my testers and everything is on the same modem / router (WPA2-PSK) / switch but I don't use the wireless function now - however was curious re your ref to a machine as a hardware firewall?

Easy thing to do, would give you the direct link to it, BUT giving links to websites has irrated Brink in another
forum, so just go over to the Maximum PC website, click on the "how to" menu, then build a firewall using an old PC, and follow those instructions

Hello everyone, is there a "list" available for compatible antivirus solutions with COMODO Firewall? I think it'd be very helpful if we had a section on this.

If it already exists, then could someone point me in the right direction?

I don't know that there is an official list, but I have used Avast with the Comodo Firewall with Defense Plus on on XP, and now Seven with no issues. Found this discussion on their forum, for what it's worth.

Hm, I wonder if we should have our own section on this. People post which antivirus software is friendly with COMODO firewall. I already know a few.
