i have notice that the live messenger isnt available to download any more (i only just found out) now microsft
wants people to change over to skype, well for the last three hours i have had nothing but complete hassles
with installing shitty skype and trying to login with my msn account and still wont work.

How do you know it is a new version? What is the date for it
Especially for WLM part because no one on their forum posted there is a new version

I am not on try computer that has 2012 on it now so I cannot check the version

Ok it is an update that was released today, but one of the moderators in the windows live forum has no idea what was fixed or not. I am going to install on top of 2011 and and test it to see if contacts are fixed
I will report back in a few days because this problem was on and off

but you have to go to Page 9 to see it

Ok I just sent a group email but that does not mean anything because as said it works on and off
I will keep testing this week to see if this is actually fixed but it installed over 2011 just fine
I just sent another email after opening and closing the program
The problem is NOT fixed in this version. It came back with the same error msg it was getting before but when closing the program (I did a copy of the body of the email) and reopening, and re logging into WLM it now went
Before it did not even do that but I will keep testing over this week

The problem with sending group contacts definitely is not fixed in this version, I have been testing it all week. I still get the error msg that no contacts are available to send
If yo save it as a draft, log out of windows live mail, log back in, sometimes it works.
If you do not have a live account, sometimes it will send if you close the program and re open it. But this can be very frustrating.

just so you know it is not 2013, it still says 2012, I am testing it out now to see if it still has the group contact problem,

I only tested it once, but I want to give it a few days and see if this is the reason they updated it because this was a big problem, I will let you know if it is really fixed in a few days once I have had a chance to really test it

What I really want Microsoft to do is get rid of Messenger from the installer and put Skype on that.

Hi, is it just me or this new version actually re-enables MSN? Before that update I couldn't lauch MSN but now I can again, no more "go download skype" message...what is Microsoft thinking?
