Ever since the windows update on 10/14/14, my computer has been loading slowly. Games and apps which took 10 seconds to load up now take 2-5 minutes. I'm using Windows 7 Home SP1.

DETAILS, Please!

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Open Event Viewer
click on the Windows logs entry in the left pane to expand it.
Now click on the Application entry - wait while it loads.
Click on 'File' in the menu bar and select Save...
Save the file as Appevt.evtx
Repeat for the System log
then zip both, and upload them.

My apologies, here's some more information that could help you. I ran the SURT tool and the only hotfix it did was on an older update KB947821, which didn't fix the problem. I ran the SFC /Scannow and it did not detect any integrity issues. I'd like to mention that the windows updates from 10/14/14, KB2952664 failed to install, although I hear many people are having this problem, not sure if its related. I attached the requested CBS in 2 .rar files, as the .zip files were too large to upload, hopefully this won't be a problem. Thank you and I appreciate any help you can give me.

Actually you can probably disregard my problem, I think I fixed the issue. Disabling my anti virus (which inadvertently was updated the same day) seems to be the culprit. Thanks for the help though!

I spoke too soon actually. After restarting my computer, its going slow again, with or without my anti virus. Problems still persist.

There's no errors in either the SFC or CheckSUR results.
The background CBS data is pretty innocuous as well.

click on the Windows logs entry in the left pane to expand it.

Click on 'File' in the menu bar and select Save...
Save the file as Appevt.evtx

It must be something else then. Thanks for looking into this for me, going to try a few more things.
