Old puter, evga GTX 8800 SC, driver 186.xxx ????
New puter, evga GTX 260 SC, 2 paired in SLI, driver 196.xxxx ????

Old puter works with my LCD's input much better than new one. Old puter was on the LCD's PC input and the HDMI input, multi-monitor mode and worked pretty good. Now its connected to a CRT monitor and the RGB input via the vid cards S-video output. Fabulous HDTV picture since I figured out the adjustments, looks even nicer than when connected to HDMI input. Game works and loads fine.

New puter will only function properly with only the PC input. Full native res, nice pic but not the HDTV definition. When I add the HDMI input to do multi-monitors I do not get anything like with old puter. No desktop resize available for HDMI. Interferes with the PC input, 1080i drops to 30Hz refresh. 720p needs desktop resize, allowed only a very odd res that fits screen at 60Hz. Very unstable and will not load game.

Nvidia drivers and a Sony Bravia 40" LCD. Newer puter is HDCP and will not function as good as old, why? I should have no issues, new puter is way better than older one yet.............................................

Any thoughts?

On another note, you're not attempting to connect to the television with both the 'PC Input' and HDMI input at the same time are you?

Thought PC input implied VGA, DVI>VGA dongle, and at minimum HDTV of anykind, (hdmi, s-video, RGB), implies DVI, ie digital. Majority of modern cards are paired DVI outs with an S-video out.

Yes, I did it with the older puter it worked fine. There separate inputs. Old puter saw it as two separate monitors. Duped them and told HDMI to be primary.

New puter will dupe them, but its screwy. IF I just hook-up to the HDMI, it wants 1080i to be at 30Hz and the resize desktop functions not there????
