Left For Dead 2 "-insecure" Error

Every time i try play L4d2 i get an error saying "You have -insecure in the launch options which will prevent you from connecting to VAC secured servers". How could i remove the -insecure from launch options without steam please?

Check if "-insecure" parameter is present in the launcher. You can do this by going into your steam library > click on Left 4 Dead 2 > Right Click > Choose Properties > In the General Tab, click "Set Launch Options..." > Find "-insecure" parameter and remove it.

You sure you didn't download the game off from somewhere?

Does it matter that the operating system is W-10?

Nah. Insecure mode was made for testing out mods that has the possibility of giving advantage against other players.
