Lenovo Thinkpad does not detect external VGA display when charging.

This only happens when the laptop charger is plugged in, if it is not plugged in the display is detected and works properly.

Intel i5 2450m

4GB ram

Intel HD 4000 graphics.

Unsure what other info could/should be provided.
