Anyone find a way for Lexmark drivers to work for win7 x64? I can install just fine with the different compatibility modes but when I try to print I get a "Communication Not Available" error... and the printer is connected.

Here's the error:

Did you install the drivers correctly sometimes the softare needs to be installed on the pc firstly, then it tells you when to connect the printer - check support /installation on Lemark site. If the vista driver doesnt work, as you were saying? Try the xp driver in compatibility mode with xp, unusual, but its working in some cases with drivers. Sorry if you already have what you said is a little bit ambiguous.

There are real 64-bit win7 drivers for this to be available soon on Lexmark.com. In the meantime, the Vista X64 drivers should work. Get them at Lexmark - United States

Are you sure? Cause they don't work for me...

I've tried installing the vista x64 drivers in normal mode, vista compatibility mode, vista sp1 compatibility mode, vista sp2 comp mode, and so on. They don't work.

I'll try the XP drivers in XP mode, and I'll let you know.

Errr.... odd, I re-downloaded from their website the drivers and they work now. I'm pretty sure I had the same ones but I guess they stealth updated them.

Thanks anyway guys.
