A while back I tried connecting my HP G72 laptop to my LG E2750 monitor using an HDMI cable instead of a VGA cable. The picture quality was awful. Text that looked fine bordered on unreadable, images that were sharp and clear had an ugly fuzzy appearance. Is this to be expected using an HDMI cable to connect a monitor?
