Library

I have 10,000+ pictures and I use ADCsee Photo Manager 2009 which I think is a pretty good program and I used the Libray for my pictures and I click on the pull down menu for months and all my pictures which I have in many sub folders were displayed in months which blew me away. I went to ADC Photo Manager and counldn't do that in the view. So my question is should I start using the Library because I have been doing everything manual, so maybe I need to study the Library. I just don't know so I thought I would ask if I'm missing something?

In Libraries on the upper right you have these choices.
