License Problem

Dear all,

A copy of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 has just been delivered to my home address - as I am out the country for an extended period I have tried to download the trial version from the Microsoft website and enter my licence key. However, this has not been recognised.

The version I have received is in an official box and was sealed when I bought it. Does anyone know if it is necessary to install the version on the CD for the licence to work? Is there any way I can it to work without having to get someone to post me the physical version?

no the key should work with the trial version just fine. this issue may be due to the fact that MS had to remove office 2007 from retailer shelves earlier this month based on a court order due to patent infringement. you should contact ms and see if that is the cause.
