There were 50 licenses for Microsoft windows 7 professional. Now the problem is I am unable to track that how much of those licenses have been used. Like i say, If i have installed windows 7 on a pc and after a week or two, the hard disk crashes., then will my license be automatically cancelled? or i have to inform Microsoft for this incident. will they still be counting the used license as an active one.., its quite complicated. Need help guyz, if anybody.

What type of licenses did you purchase? Retail, Volume KMS or Volume MAK? - it makes a big difference!

You can check the status of Retail and MAK licenses by telephoning the Activation Center for your region - use the number from the list here...
