Light Browser

Can someone tell me which is the best browser on the following parameters.

1. Should be light. i.e., pages should load up fast.
2. Shouldn’t hang on when more tabs are open.
3. And off course, lot of features and user-friendlines J

Features, such as addons, are found in FireFox, there are a bunch of them.

I heard Chrome is pretty fast.

I'm an Opera shill. IMO the only bad thing about Opera is that it'll hit 250mb of RAM usage periodically.

Firefox never hit above 100MB's, at least for me... it all depends upon usage. You might have had 10 tabs open...

Chrome has extensions now and most of the most popular ones for Firefox are available for Chrome. It is fast stable and the best browser I have used to date. As soon as more addons are available for Firefox 4 I may change my mind, but ever since Firefox 3.5 came out I have switched to Chrome especially now that they have extensions.

I gave Chrome a serious trial, but I am back with FF. Chrome extensions are a pale imitation of FF extensions. Some personal examples:

Chrome Flashblock lets the most annoying flash ads through (I tried all the different ones on chrome, none are as effective as FF flashblock)

Chrome mouse gestures are slow. My favorite gestures are page top and page bottom. Instant on FF, slow as molassas on chrome.

Chrome speed dial extension does't have a tenth the power of speed dial for FF. On FF you can set crop and soom for each dial and tapped sets. So I can actually just look at my speed dial and even read the page in on FF. Like for a TV guide. I never even visit the page anymore. I can read it in the speed dial on FF.

Beyond that everything is more customizable in FF. Like I can shut off annoying animated gifs in FF. No such setting in Chrome.

Thanks for your opinion. I have mine, you have yours. There was no reason for you to quote my respons to give yours. This makes it seem like your response is a personal attack against me. I will stay with Chrome, because it best serves my internet needs right now. You will stick with FF because it best serves your needs right now. Like I said, once addons are supported in FF 4 beta or when it comes out of beta I may switch back, but right now I prefer Chrome.

PS. I use adblock plus in Chrome and it has the same subscriptions as adblock plus in FF and blocks the same exact ads. It works fine in both browsers.
