limited access on wireless, also cannot access programme uninstall

Hi Firstly I am not very computer savy so would ask that any assitance or help given is on simple terms - Thanks

I have 2 dell laptops running off the same router and have been working fine for the last 6 months.

One of the laptops has all of a sudden switched to saying limited access on the proset icon. After reading threads etc. I have re booted the laptop & router, tried connected by wire with no avail.

The machine is running very slow and I am wondering if this isn't the olnly fault. As I wanted to try re installing the wireless driver but I cannot get onto the uninstall a programme window- it just doesnt load.

Any suggestions?

It sounds as if the laptop may be near the end of it's life cycle. Could we have any more info that you can provide?

the laptop is 6 months old, what info can I provide
