line out jack and internal speaker run simultaneously?

I have a question about my "Realtek ALC888/1200 High Definition Audio Controller". problem is that, When I attach my speaker's jack to laptop's speaker's out, the laptop's sound will be off completely. Ordinarily this is normal... But, I want to laptop's speaker's sound won't be off and keep going its sound When I attach my speaker's jack to laptop's line out... Thanks...

Well, there really is no option for this under the Sounds option panel, so you may not be able to do this. I have had it occur when the proper drivers were not installed. You may be able to do it with proprietary drivers.

Sorry, but that will not be possible. Have a look at this:

This three-conductor jack has two normally closed switches connected to the contacts themselves. This would be useful for a patch point, for instance, or for allowing another signal to feed the line until a plug is inserted. The switches open when a plug is inserted. A common use for this style of connector is a stereo headphone jack that shuts off the default output (speakers) when the connector is plugged in.

This is the sort of socket that you have on your laptop. When you plug a cable into that socket, be it for headphones, external speakers or feeding to an amplifier, the switches operate and the internal speakers are cut off. The same will apply for your microphone/line in socket in that your built-in microphone(s) will be cut off when that socket is in use.

Internal Speakers and headphones work at the same time

Hello Dwarf.
Generally, I would agree with you, but since last week and I don´t know why, all of a sudden when I plug in my headphones, I get sound both on my headphones as well as on my pc speakers. This does not make sence as it is a mechanical switch as your drawing shows. What I have obesrved is that there is a red light now shining out my jack port now that previously was not there.

This option is sometimes provided with the drivers provided for the hardware - though not often

Of course It can be achieved by a simple mechanical solution where external speakers are available - a simple "Y" adaptor will allow the feed from the jack to go to both speakers and headphones
