Linking "Sent Items" folder

I have added several email addresses, ie. gmail and hotmail. When I send a message it does not show in the "Sent Items" folder. I have been searching for an answer here, but to no avail. Can anyone help me in the least technical manner. Thanks

In what email program? Windows Live Mail, perhaps?
If so, each account has a Sent Items folder, and they can't be combined.
There is an All Sent Items quick view that can show you the contents of all of the Sent Item folders.
right-click on Quick Views, select quick views
