Solved Links to My Documents, My Music etc. not appearing in Start Menu

The Start Menu currently shows Downloads, Computer and Control Panel and nothing else, even after I've gone into the customize Start Menu multiple times and changed it.

The laptop I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on is new and the installation is only a few days old. I transferred all my old work from my XP computer and to make sure this wasn't the problem I created a new User Account and transferred my old files over but still nothing. Any help?

Did you try default settings.

To use Default settings, right click on the Start orb and select Properties.
Click on Customize then Use Default Settings button at bottom left.

Default settings didn't work, but turns out it was because I had Libraries disabled which means it won't show up on the Start Menu

Hello Southernlights, and welcome to Seven Forums.

What method did you use to disable Libraries? If you used the method that just deleted Libraries completely in the registry, then you might consider restoring/undoing that and doing this below instead.

If you like, you could use the method in the tutorial below instead to hide Libraries in the navigation pane to still be able to have your user folder buttons available in the Start Menu. In addition, see the yellow TIP box at the bottom of the tutorial as well to help even more.

Yeah I used the registry to delete Libraries but I went with this method and everything works great now, thanks!
