linux & W7 ?

Hi can i keep my W7 on my 750Gig Hdd and use my 2nd 250 Gig Hdd for linux mint ( 2 Os on 2 Hdds ) in my laptop ??
I am downloading the mint now
How would i go about this at the monent my 2nd hdd has been cleaned with disk part and initialized

Hi.

Unplug the HDD with Windows. Install Linux as normal. Once installed, reconnect the Windows HDD. When you boot, use the BIOS to select which HDD (and OS) to boot from.
