In the longer run you will probably be happier with Mint Mate. Zorin is a nice little system and it comes ready made out of the box. It has some restrictions though and is also a little buggy.

Mint Mate is a much more powerful system and with the tutorials I provide, it should be a breeze to nicely set it up in an hour or two.

There are some other Mint versions but they are on a different base (Gnome 3) which I do not like. It gives you less installation options.
