Print output is blank when you print text to a Generic/Text Only printer in Internet Explorer 9 on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
Symptoms:
Assume that you connect a Generic/Text Only printer to a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. When you try to use Windows Internet Explorer 9 on the computer to print text to the printer, the print output is blank.
Cause:
This issue occurs because the XPS-to-Graphics Device Interface (GDI) converter driver (Xpsgdiconverter.dll) cannot set custom fonts in the printer.
