Live Mail restore ?

Hi,

I have a live mail account I haven't use for a long time , I got back into the account tonight but windows informed me as I haven't logged in for over 12 months all my emails are gone :-(

Is there anyway to restore these ?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello and welcome UK1986 mate I am assuming you are referring to Windows Live Mail - if you are - are you using the same email accounts in it as you did before? and are you using the correct password and server settings?

Personally I cannot see why you cannot retrieve emails even if you have not used the service for that length of time.

Just for an example tonight I loaded Thunderbird email for an extra email source and all my hotmail mails from 2014 came though so they are there somewhere.
