Hi

I have just installed WLM 2011. When I send an email, it doesn't automatically carry out a spell check and a copy of the message is not being saved in the sent box

Can you please advise me how to get the spell check to work and how I save sent messages in the sent folder

Many Thanks

I was thinking about installing it, but there was a problem with the most recent update in which users weren't able to view one webcam, they had to do a video call..
Is this still an issue?

Use the "send" and "spelling" tabs in the "Options" and check your preferences. Also, there are two sent items folders. The one associated with any given pop3/smtp account is only for mail sent "from" that account. Mail sent while in (or from) an imap account shows up in the sent folder under storage folders.

I have had Windows 7 with windows live mail for over a year and the spell check has always worked just fine. Now all it does is underline words but when I try the ABC icon it does nothing to come up and search through the words and send does not run it either it says spell check was halted do I want to send anyway. What is wrong. I checked settings in tools.

Haven't really taken notice of spell check but WLE 2012 seems to have improved its Mail application quite a bit, don't recall if had that problem.

Supposedly there is a fix - Tools-Options: set default language to English (UK) but don't use 2011 to try it out. Hope that helps.
