I just reformatted, and I'm on W7.

I was downloading MSN, and I noticed its the new 2011 one, which I find pretty shitty, I couldn't find a link to the old/normal Live Messenger, does anyone know where to get it?

Is there a way to keep installed WLM 2009 along with Windows Photo Gallery and Windows Movie Maker from Wave 4?

I have WLM 2009 installed and when trying to install only photo gallery and movie maker the instalation program says it will upgrade automatically to WLM 2011 and there's no way to prevent it.

Thanks!

Hello and Welcome !

I don't believe so and even if we get it to work around there are dependencies dlls which each Programs uses so if the versions differ that might cause lot of crashes and issues. It's better off bit the bullet and stick with 2011.

Hope this helps,
Captain

Thanks for your quick answer Capt.Jack Sparrow!

Well, what a shame! New movie maker and photo gallery are pretty good, however WLM 2011 lacks some features such as handwriting, nicknames and so on and it managed to be even more slow to log in. Shame, shame, shame!
